I haven't been blogging lately due to the craziness that is otherwise known as recruiting season. But since my interviews are over I figure I do a little note about the exciting world of recruiting. For those of you who don't attend business school or go out to these events here's the download.
Essentially recruiting for full time goes on for a solid month at the beginning of the school year. During this month these are the things you must deal with:
1. Dress in Business Casual or Business Formal daily
2. Attend info sessions, cocktails, reception dinners, and networking events
3. Write, edit, update your resumes and cover letters
4. Stress, stress, and stress
5. Somehow balance your school work and personal life
6. Travel, travel, travel
7. Practice for interviews
8. Wait for results --> most difficult part
9. Deal with rejection
10. Rejoice in success
I'm currently stuck at number 8, hoping to avoid number 9, and reaching number 10
